We Prepare Pupils For Life After School

27TH APR 2018

We recently invited pupils from All Saints' Catholic Voluntary Academy in Mansfield to find out more about life after school at a workshop designed specifically for them by our Learning and Development team.

We were approached by the school to help show pupils how they can prepare for their future careers, as part of supporting them in achieving targeted GCSE grades.

We hosted six pupils at our dedicated Training Academy in Mansfield, for a workshop designed especially for them called 'Life After School, The Next Steps'. Our Technical Training Programme Leader, Andrew Harrison, delivered the event.

The workshop saw pupils get involved in a number of tasks, looking at where they are now and where they see themselves in the future, before discussing pathways to their success, including apprenticeships, and how working hard for exam results now will 'open doors' for them in the future.

Alongside the talk, we brought along a new Jaguar F-Type to the academy especially for the group to take a look at and sit in, which proved to be a big hit!

"It was a pleasure to have the pupils from All Saints' Catholic Voluntary Academy at our Training Academy recently. They were a delight to work with and we're proud to have such a great facility that enables us to be able to host events like this.

"At Pendragon, we're big believers in showcasing the different opportunities that are on offer to students from a young age. There are paths to success to suit everyone and we want to help individuals develop and progress their career with Pendragon."
