Pendragon Shines Amongst Top Companies

Pendragon PLC is celebrating after taking second place in the Nottingham Post's Top 200 Companies in Nottinghamshire, with only fellow retailer, Boots UK, preceding Pendragon.

Economists from Nottingham Business School conducted the research with the findings announced at an event in Nottingham City Centre this morning. The list incorporates the Top 200 businesses by turnover and includes companies with registered accounts in Nottinghamshire from a list of 50,000 businesses.

The company profile in the publication details the Pendragon story from its demerger from Williams PLC in 1989, to recent innovative business initiatives such as the first automotive click and collect service, Move Me Closer, to its popular used car purchasing scheme, Sell Your Car. It also touches on the businesses internet growth and financial information from its 2014 annual results.
