Pendragon PLC Supports Time To Talk

On Thursday 7th February 2019, Pendragon PLC joined #TimetoTalk day, as part of our Time to Change pledge, which we signed last year. This pledge focuses on the way people think about and act on mental health, which is something we really push for our team members to support.

Hosted by Time to Change yearly, the idea behind the day was a really simple one - however you do it, start a conversation about mental health.

Mental health problems affect one in four of us yet people are still afraid to talk about it. For people with mental health problems not being able to talk about it can be one of the worst parts of the illness. So, by getting people talking about mental health we can break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and take the stigma out of something that affects us all.

From 'Positive Word Bingo' to coffee and cake to positive messages in a bottle, our teams across the business, including Car Store, Stratstone, PVM, Evans Halshaw and Central Functions, took the initiative to ensure the message of support was sent in the most effective way possible.
