Pendragon Hosts Bring Your Child to Work Day

Our Nottingham-based headquarters welcomed some young visitors this week, in our first 'Bring Your Child to Work Day'.

A group of children aged between eight and 14, whose parents work at our Central Operations, visited our offices for the day to find out more about the automotive industry, customer service and how the business operates.

The children learnt about Pendragon's customer service values and how being helpful is not only important at home but also for businesses when dealing with their customers.

They also learnt more about electric cars and even had the chance to look round a BMW i8 before designing their own cars made from building blocks.

The day concluded with a graduation ceremony with certificates and goody bags for everyone who took part.

Jo Moxon, HR Director, said: “We were delighted to welcome these young children to our head office for the day to learn more about Pendragon and how important it is to our business to look after our customers. We are passionate about inspiring people to consider a career in the automotive industry so this was a great opportunity to engage the youngest of fans and leave them feeling excited about working with cars.”

The event forms part of our wider strategy to engage with the local community and inspire young people to think about careers in the automotive industry.
