Gift of Christmas Charity Initiative

Pendragon gave the Gift of Christmas this week as our team members bought and delivered presents to local children in the Mansfield area.

We spread the word about our Gift of Christmas initiative at the start of November, giving our team members the opportunity to buy presents for children that are currently in temporary accommodation.

Team members were given a child's name and age, to help inspire their present ideas, and they had until the 19th December to hand over their presents.

We are delighted that around 100 presents were donated to local children in Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

The handover took place on Wednesday 19th December at Tideswell Court in Mansfield and the presents will be distributed by Joseph Muir, Senior Temporary Accommodation Officer at Mansfield District Council.

Mr Muir commented:

"On behalf of Mansfield District Council's Housing Needs Support Services, we would like to thank everyone at Pendragon for supporting the children and families with their generous donations.

"This act of kindness really makes a difference for the children over the Christmas period."
