Award Double at the Wheeler Dealer Awards
3RD DEC 2012
Evans Halshaw has won two awards at the inaugural Wheeler Dealer Awards. The awards ceremony was held at The Brewery in the heart of London with Mike Brewer, a former car trader now TV presenter, at the helm.
One of our recent online marketing initiatives, linked to the release of the newest film in the James Bond film franchise 'Skyfall', took the 'Best Used Car Marketing Scheme Award'. The timing and execution of this website based marketing activity was a design triumph, celebrating 50 years of James Bond cars.
The infographic has had almost 200,000 hits worldwide, 12,000 Facebook likes and won a number of online awards since its launch to coincide with the hugely successful film.
Robert Goodman of Evans Halshaw Motorhouse Plymouth was awarded the 'Used Car Sales Manager of the Year Award', for both his skill as a leader, and the balance of team member motivation whilst driving forward used car performance.
This awards event focused on best practice in the area of used cars. This market is a key focus area for the Group and our awards reflect our excellence in this core part of our business.
Investors peeps accred
Pendragon PLC was first recognised for this prestigious accolade in August 1998. This latest accredition is the fifth consecutive time that the Company has been assessed, and awarded the coveted badge of Investors in People.
Trevor Finn, Chief Executive commented:
“Throughout the period from 1998 to 2012 the Group has seen dramatic growth, but we recognise that it is our team members who make our success possible. Our Company vision, core values and leadership team continue to be committed to our team members. This latest Investors in People Accredition shows our dedication to learning and development, and the value we place on our team.”
The Investors in People Accreditation is reviewed every three years, and the reaccreditation process involves interviews with team members across all levels of the business. In addition there must be a demonstration of the organisation’s objectives relating to learning and development, and that team members are recognised and valued.
