Bill Berman

Chief Executive Officer

Bill joined Pendragon on 18 April 2019 as a Non-Executive Director, and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer with effect from 19 February 2020.

Formerly the President and Chief Operating Officer of AutoNation, the largest automotive retailer in America, Bill brings to the Board significant experience in automotive retail, enabling him to provide effective executive leadership of Pendragon’s Board and advise in relation to the Company’s future strategy.

Mark Willis

Chief Finance Officer

Mark joined Pendragon on 08 April 2019 from Ten Entertainment Group PLC where he held the position of Chief Finance Officer since taking it through its IPO in April 2017. Prior to this Mark worked at Home Retail Group PLC, including roles as Argos Finance Director, Director of Group Finance and Investor Relations Director.

Since joining Pendragon, Mark’s wealth of accounting, financial and investor relations experience continues to add significant value to the Board.

Matt Southall

Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

Matt is responsible for the executive leadership and delivery of Pendragon’s Group strategy.

Matt joined Pendragon having gained over 15 years’ experience of strategy development and value creation for some of the UK’s largest retail businesses including Sainsbury’s and Argos where he was responsible for the B2B division transformation. Matt started his career in consulting at Deloitte.

Kim Costello

Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer

Kim joined Pendragon in 2020 and is the responsible for the executive leadership of Group marketing, communications and PR strategy.

Prior to joining Pendragon Kim’s extensive operational automotive knowledge and marketing experience came from working at AutoNation, America's largest automotive retailer, and from professional sport.

Lizzie Downes

Chief People Officer

Lizzie joined Pendragon in September 2021 as Chief People Officer and leads the company’s People Function and is responsible for the Group people strategy, purpose and culture.

Lizzie has over 10 years of OEM automotive experience in PSA Peugeot Citroen Prior and most recently before Pendragon as Global Director of Organisation Development & Transformation and HR Director, Global Corporate & Commercial Functions for Jaguar Land Rover.

Nick Mayes

Chief Information Officer

Nick has over 25 years' experience in technology and business transformation leadership operating in PLC and Private Equity businesses.

Before joining Pendragon in November 2019, Nick worked across several sectors including Banking, Travel, Gambling, Hospitality and Leisure in businesses including TUI travel, Gala Coral Group, Luminar Plc and Cambridge and Counties Bank based both in the UK and Europe.

Nick has a demonstrable track record of delivering innovative technical solutions and business transformation.
