Pendragon Welcomes New Undergraduates

Last night we welcomed our new Undergraduates to the business at a Meet and Greet event, giving our newest team members an insight into the business and a chance to learn more about their year ahead.

Taking place in our brand new Marketing space at Pendragon Central Operations, Nottinghamshire, our 2017 intake met Leaders, mentors and current Undergraduates and Graduates, getting to know them before starting work with us.

Throughout the course of the evening, our Head of Stock (and ex-Graduate) and HR Undergraduate gave presentations, before a Q&A with Leaders and current Undergraduates, plus 1-2-1s with mentors.

The evening finished with an informal Mediterranean buffet and drinks. Welcome to all our new Undergraduates joining us this summer!

TA To Open To Local Community

After opening its Training Academy to develop members of its team, Pendragon PLC has now opened the doors of its Training Academy up to the local community.

The Academy, which is based on Southwell Road West in Mansfield, has received significant investment to fit it out with a number of training rooms that have now been made available for hire for local businesses and groups. It's a fantastic space and boasts a welcoming break out area as well as its light, modern breakout rooms.

Its Showcase Event was held last night with over 40 attendees from the local business community present. 

Neil Atkin, Head of Learning and Development at Pendragon PLC, commented:

"The Training Academy is such a great facility for our team members and we've had nothing but praise from people that attend courses here. We regularly work with schools and our local community and often hear meeting space and facilities are an issue so we invested in the Academy to enable more people to benefit from the space. We are looking forward to welcoming businesses and providing a hub for creativity."
